Full Description


A very good quality late 19th century French inset Rouge marble Gueridon / side table. Having gilded ormolu mounts, cluster column quiver like legs tapering legs with leaf decoration wrapped around. United by a triform stretcher beneath, terminating in six Hoof feet. 
(minor restoration needed to leg decoration)
Attributed to Adam Weisweiler.
Adam Weisweiler (c. 1750 – c. 1810) was a preeminent French master cabinet maker (ébéniste) in the Louis XVI period. His works were commissioned and enjoyed by an elite international clientele, which included the most prestigious European royalty and nobility of the time.
