Full Description
This elegant Victorian centre table, dating to circa 1880, is crafted in richly figured, flame mahogany. Its circular top is arranged in striking segmented veneers, radiating outward to create a warm, sunburst effect. At the centre, delicate floral marquetry adds a decorative focal point, while a fine inlaid border follows the curve of the rim. The top’s generous proportions and beautifully contrasted grain make it an eye-catching feature from every angle. Beneath, a shaped tri-form support flows into three gracefully scrolling legs, each detailed with further inlay and finished with curled feet. The sculptural base lends the table a light, balanced appearance while providing a distinctive Victorian silhouette. Refined and richly ornamented, this piece would bring period character and decorative charm to a drawing room or entrance hall.
