A very impressive 19th Century Louis XVI style gilded ormolu and patinated bronze sun burst Cartel wall clock. depicting cherubs among clouds and sun rays. The white enamel clock face with Roman numerals, the movement having an eight day duration and strikes on the hour and half hour. The gilded ormolu Rococo influenced case with scrolling C scroll and foliate decoration.
