A wonderfully impressive pair of late 19th Century Japanese Meiji period crinkle topped Imari vases. Each with a bold Blue and White decoration, scenes depicting feeding cranes with gilded high lights, bands of blue and white having classical motif simples. Raised on the original stepped hand painted wooden bases.
